Birra al Parco - Tasting of artisan beers

Description

Edition 2018

The Birra al Parco project is now in its second edition! Born to pay homage to a history dating back to the nineteenth century, with the first production of craft beer in Bellinzona in 1853, the event dedicated to the production of craft beer Ticino offers to learn more about the world of beer, the customs and traditions associated with its production or, simply, its tastes.

History passes from Villa dei Cedri and reveals the many faces of beer, whose tradition in Ticino begins in the nineteenth century. Last year, the Park of the Villa was the setting for a very successful weekend of tasting of Ticino beers. All this coincides with another feather in the cap of the calendar of events in the capital: the Autumn Festival and the Cheese Market - from 12 to 14 October - which in fact combine local knowledge and flavors.

Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October 2018, from 1.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m., in collaboration with the traditional Autumn Festival.

On Saturday 13th October there will be a tasting of some of the best artisan beers of Ticino.

With the participation of:

Birrificio Sottobisio (Balerna, TI), Microbirrifico Rigamonti (Camorino, TI), Broken City Brewing (Viganello, TI), PD Beer (Santa Maria, GR), Birra Bozz (Gerra Piano, TI), Officina della Birra (Bioggio, TI), Bottega dei Ghi (Dino, TI), Maitri Beer (Arzo, TI), Brasserie Le Traquenard (ospite dal Vallese).

Sunday, October 14 will open our eyes to the world, with a presentation of the best in brewing from the USA, Belgium, Great Britain and Italy.

In addition, enrolment courses with the Roberto Storni Sommelier will allow you to discover styles, ways of tasting and combinations of beer and food.
