Val Grande, National Park since 1992, at only 100 kilometers from Milan, raises the curtain for those who want to experience a very particular atmosphere. Theater of historical events that have seen man crossing this land and intensely living it, today Val Grande has no resident population, asphalt roads, or other modern infrastructures: it is the largest wilderness area in the Alps.
Only the signs and traces of the past, as well as kilometers of trails to go along with curiosity and attention, remain. Here the rays of the sun penetrate into the thick beech woods and make the crystal-clear waters of the several streams crossing the valley sparkle. A little world to discover by yourself or by listening to someone who knows how to talk about it.
