Ingredients for 6 people:
- 1 salted codfish 1.5 kg
- 6 big potatoes
- spices (sage, thyme, shallots, tarragon)
- 50 gr of butter
- 1 spoon of olive oil
Desalinate the codfish for 18 hours under running water. Remove the fishbone. Cook the fish in milk without letting it boil (about 10-12 minutes). Let it drip and peel it well. After that, fry it in a pot with the spices for 5 minutes, and then let it rest for other 5 minutes.
Peel the potatoes that you cooked in the water. Put butter and oil on an oven pan, alternate layers of fish and potatoes.
Let cook in the oven for half an hour at 160°C, adding some milk if it appears too dry. Serve warm.
