Biking holidays: Gottardo Bike

The Tremola road meanders below you like a white ribbon from the Gotthard pass down to Airolo. You can take a last look back from your vantage point and then race down through the Val Canaria to Airolo. Charming accommodation welcomes you for two nights before you set off for the Val di Blenio. The jagged Pizzo on the way to Passo del Sole forms a sharp contrast after the fertile meadows of the Piora plateau. Spicy scents suddenly waft around your nose on the descent into the Val di Blenio.

The mild climate here in the Valley of the Sun is almost mediterranean. A detour to the Alpe di Bovarina, a visit to the spa area of your accommodation, and you are already at the last stage. The spectacular ride past the ruined village of Serravalle brings you to the pointed church towers of Biasca, where your bike tour ends.
