Mercato di Stresa (Italia)

Stresa is a town by Lake Maggiroe, beyond Baveno. The quickest way to get there is to follow the road that runs along the lake from the Brissago customs exit. Alternatively, you can get there by the boat or the hydrofoil, both of which cross the border daily.

The market here is a true Italian market, offering fresh dairy products, fish, and meat, as well as delicious smelling fruit and vegetables. You can find accessories for all kinds of activities among the stalls, including items for the kitchen, fishing, music, and gardening. You can also buy jackets, bags, and belts made from top quality leather at very low prices. You’ll find all sorts of clothing here, from jeans to pyjamas, from sock to tights, from underwear to aprons.

Please consult the customs clearance sheet for information on customs practices.
