How did people live in the Middle Ages?

Tremona is a village located on the southern slope of Monte San Giorgio, a short distance from Mendrisio. History tells us that Tremona is a village with ancient origins, but for many, many years, nobody noticed that behind the village, on a wooded hill, there were traces of an even more ancient village, even more special, and located in a strategic position. The work and interest of a group of archaeologists has brought to light an entire medieval village, transforming a portion of the woods into an open-air museum, which is now open to the public. It is hard to imagine how people lived in those days, but a visit to the Tremona-Castello archaeological Park can help us understand many thing.
