The refuge, at 2130 m, is located at the top of S. Petronilla Valley, which is located on the shores of the lake di Lago. Just below there is the forcarella di Lago, a pass that allows the connection with the hut of Cava (UTOE, Biasca).
The refuge has 6 beds and is always open, you can find the key on the front door.
Reservations are required on 091 862 11 74, by e-mail ([email protected]) or at www.patriziatobiasca.ch/rifugi, Monday to Friday during office hours.
The refuge can be reached from Biasca, climbing the path Fracion - Mont dal Tredas - Compiett - Lago (approx. 5 hours and 30 minutes) or from the alps Cava (approx. 40 minutes).
It was renovated in the years 1986-87 thanks to the collaboration of many citizens of Biasca who have executed various works.
