Hut from which you can make various alpine and hiking activities, in fact the region of Piansecco is one of the most interesting areas for mountain activities.
In 1998, the path from the Gotthard Pass to the Nufenenen Pass via the Piansecco hut was opened.
The hut is located along the Four Springs Trail, which since 2012 links the cantons of Uri, Graubünden, Ticino and Valais to discover the sources of the Rhine, Reuss, Ticino and Rhone.
In winter there are several peaks to climb on skis, among them dominates the Pizzo Rotondo, which thanks to its shape and its altitude is the highlight of the Bedretto Valley.
The Piansecco region is also perfectly suited to excursions with children, in fact the hut is easily reached from All'Acqua and Cruina. From here you can make beautiful excursions in the surroundings such as "Lago Pigne" or "la conca pianeggiante" next to the hut.
For the more prepared, just a few metres from the hut, a climbing gym has been built with easy and super-nailed routes, suitable for children. For those who want to climb difficult routes with a fabulous granite compared to that of Mont Blanc must try the wall of Poncione di Ruino.
