The Föisc refuge is located on a panoramic promontory that allows you to take a look at the Val Piora, the Leventina and the Bedretto Valley.
It has 8 beds and a small kitchen. It is not guarded.
Wooden construction of the year 2000 is divided into 4 areas well finished and characteristic. There is a wood and gas kitchen and the lighting is by solar panels, the toilets are located inside the hut. There is no possibility of drinking water on site, so there are two tanks of 1,000 litres each for collecting rainwater. There is therefore running water in the toilet, which must be boiled in the kitchen.
In winter the hut can be completely buried, for this reason there is a pole that signals the hut.
