uration of the competition
Participation in the competition will be open from 11 March, 2022, to 16 September, 2022. The winners will be drawn by lot and contacted by 23 September, 2022, and will have until 2 October to accept their winnings.
Who is eligible to participate
All natural persons who are over 18 years of age at the time of participation and reside in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein are eligible to take part in the competition. Employees of Ticino Turismo and their family members are excluded from participation. Each person may only participate in the competition once.
How to participate and how winners are drawn
There will be 5 winners in the competition. To take part in the competition, you must vote for your 3 favourite posters via the landing page ticino.ch/jubilee, provide your contact details, and accept the conditions of participation. It is not necessary to visit the touring poster exhibitions related to the jubilee and visiting them will not affect your chances of winning. The winners will be drawn by lot out of all participants who meet the conditions of participation. The draw will take place behind closed doors.
Prizes and notification of winners
Each of the 5 winners will receive a copy of the book Immagine Ticino and a historical poster of their choice from those available in the Ticino Turismo online shop. The winners will be contacted by email by 23 September, 2022, and will be asked to provide their postal address for the prize to be sent to. The winners will have until 2 October, 2022, to reply to the email accepting the prize, otherwise their right to the prize will lapse and another winner will be drawn.
Exclusion from the competition
Ticino Turismo is authorized to exclude participants from the competition for valid reasons, such as the violation of the conditions of participation or any attempt to influence the outcome of the competition, rig the competition, etc.
Right to interrupt / modify the competition
Ticino Turismo reserves the right to adapt, modify, or terminate the competition in case of need. It also reserves the right to change the competition rules, the conditions of entry, or the determination of the winner at any time. Such interruption may take place in particular if it is no longer possible to ensure that the competition is carried out as normal for technical or legal reasons.
Data protection
The data is provided to Ticino Turismo and will be used, recorded, and processed exclusively in the context of the competition. The data will not be used for marketing purposes. Ticino Turismo undertakes to treat the information received with the utmost diligence and responsibility.
