Strada degli Alpi

A tour of average difficulty through the Bedretto Valley along the wonderful high mountain path, the «Strada degli Alpi». From Airolo, passing through the delightful Bedretto Valley, we climb to the old mountain villages of Villa, Bedretto and Ronco. Here we leave the asphalted road and climb to Alpe di Folcra, where the «Strada degli Alpi» begins. This varied high mountain path through meadows offers a wonderful panoramic view of the valley and the Gottard Pass opposite. From Alpe di Pesciüm a rapid descent on the Sentiero degli Alpi takes us to Nante, from where the mountain road returns us to the starting point.
