Rifugio Restaurant Lago Ritom

The rifugio restaurant Lago Ritom is located in the splendid Val Piora at 1850 above s.l. and it offers a cordial and familiar environment. On the panoramic terrace or in the pleasant restaurant room specialty of Ticino can be tasted, while sipping a good glass of Merlot in company.

The restaurant is an ideal point of departure for fascinating hiking and MTB excursions in the whole Piora Valley. Astonishing the little pond and magnificent the pastures where is born the grass that enrich the milk of the cows, from which the famous cheese Piora is gotten.
The 16 rooms, which ensure the possibility of staying overnight at high altitude, are furnished in easy style.

The restaurant Lago Ritom is reachable: by car, motorway A2, exit Quinto/Ambri, proceed towards Altanca direction, continue direction Lago-Ritom. From the motorway exit the destination is reachable in only 20 minutes. A free parking is at guests disposal.

A trip on one of the steepest funicular opened to the public in Europe, is surely an unforgettable experience (maximum inclination 87.8% and 786 meters of difference in level). The hotel-restaurant is at only 20 minutes by foot without any difficulty from the arrival station of the funicular. The departure station is located at Piotta; motorway exit Quinto/Ambri, continue direction Piotta and follow the Funicular Ritom signage.
