Vini Rovio Ronco was founded in 1986 by Gianfranco Chiesa and Ruedi Meier. Since 2007 it has been family-run by Gianfranco and Francesca.
The winery is located in Rovio on a beautiful terrace on Lake Ceresio where we produce approx. 30,000 bottles of wine and two qualities of grappa each year.
The company currently comprises six hectares of steeply sloping vineyards in the municipalities of Rovio, Pugerna and Ligornetto managed according to the principles of Integrated Production and Interconnection.
We grow grapes of the varieties Merlot, Gamaret, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Magliasina, Chasselas and Chardonnay.
The preservation and enhancement of the terroir with its peculiarities are the basis of our corporate philosophy.
