Pumptrack

A new meeting point

After two years of the World Bike Championship, Mendrisio continues to attract bikers. The parabolic dunes, have been specially designed to make the practice of exciting mountain bike into the heart of the city. Third facility of its kind in Switzerland and among the largest in Europe, the pumptrack is located near the school and wants to be a new meeting point for young people across the region who wish to combine sports to entertainment, increasing their ability in technical mountain biking.

The four roules

Access to pumptrack is completely free. The structure is not monitored and we ask our users to respect some basic rules.

RESPECT should not underestimate the difficulty of the course

PROTECTION is recommended to wear helmets and protections for the arts

FUN should be used only mountain bike in good condition without hindering other users

MONITORING children should never be left alone on the path

Please note that the user is solely responsible.

An effective cooperation

The pumptrack is the result of effective cooperation between different agencies and partners supporters. The initiative of the Association of Mendrisio Bike MoMo was promoted thanks also to the city of Mendrisio, Department of Education, Culture and Sport with Sport-Toto and Swisslos, Mendrisio09 Association and the Monte Generoso Bike Marathon. The track was produced by Velosolutions with the participation and contributions of companies and craftsmen of the region. Information /b>
