On the way to three mountain lakes

The hike takes you past meadows, pastures and bogs through regions where in earlier times the Walser people were to be found with their cattle. Vestiges of their settlements fascinate hikers to this day. With the chair lift one reaches comfortably and easily the starting point of this hike at 2000 meters above sea level. En route, an unbelievable density of species can be admired. The mountain slopes above Bosco Gurin are characterized by the greatest variety of insect species and a myriad of roses. On the hike one repeatedly encounters regions that in the past were populated by the Walsers. A further highlight of the hike is the three lakes, which are perfectly embedded within the landscape. The careful planning of a tour will ensure that you also derive the maximum pleasure and enjoyment from it. Please take the time to contact the local information centre and enquire about route and weather conditions before setting off. Your intended trail may be fully or partially closed, depending on the time of year and weather conditions.
