Start from Locarno and head towards Losone, crossing the river Maggia along the way. Shortly after the golf course “Golf Gerre” you cross the river Melezza on the broadwalk and then turn right following the path until you reach Tegna. Turn right again in direction Ponte Brolla from where you turn left into the Vallemaggia. The lane leads to Bignasco. There are cycling lanes on many parts of the route.
