Boat trip to the Bolle di Magadino

The “Bolle of Magadino” is one of the last examples of river deltas where natural environment has been mostly preserved. The area represents a very fertile and abundant territory for migratory birds before or after the crossing the alps. The delta ecosystem can be visited along a hiking trail within a protected zone and on a boat trip guided by an expert.

During summer a skilled “gondolier” accompanies numerous nature lovers to discover this rare beauty. One does not only run into coots, cormorants and other species of birds generally found in aquatic environments, but the boat trip also represents a unique opportunity to expand the knowledge about a territory that has gone through numerous environmental changes over the centuries.
