Refuge located on a small terrace from where you can admire a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The area has a rich flora and there are reign chamois, deer and marmots. A tiny lake nearby gives a poetic touch to the surroundings.
Masonry construction: Kitchen, dining room with wood burning stove, dorm for 12 people, lobby with utility room and service. Lighting with solar panel. Also suitable for ski touring.
Open: All year round but not guarded.

Excursions: Lakes of Motella; reachable in 50 min. climbing behind the water basin upstream of the Refuge then passing behind the Poncione di Mezzo. From the Lakes you can descend to the Mottella Alp then to the Stou Alp (path to Molare) or to the Vignone Alp towards Carì di Dentro. Route for good hikers well equipped and only in good weather.
